Jamie Oliver outdoor event- The Big Feastival
In order to get more inspirations for my MJ, I went to Jamie Oliver’s yearly event which was held at alex’ farm (oxfordshire) to do some observations in terms of eating environment.
Fortunately, the day was a good day! so lovely!
They created four area for this event: live band stage, cooking show area, children playground area, food & branding area.
Every Booth was decorated by many attractive and lovely accessories, had trying to do eye-catching.
You can smell different kinds of spices such as garlic and pepper. It would make people feel good and relax.
Somehow, the smell of mixing grass and spices is sort of therapy for people release their pressure. Therefore, there were thousands of participants were very happy to enjoy this confortable environment with fresh air and sunshine:)
People carried picnic blanket, waterproof mat and chair to there, just found somewhere to seated. At this moment, a functional and portable picnic accessories would be very important for people easy and quick to set a area to lie down or seat down. Also, if you can not find somewhere to have a picnic, you can still set a beautiful picnic table by a lovely table clothe. It is very easy to create a brilliant atmosphere outside.
At this picnic mat size square, people could do social activity and self relax during lunch and tea time.
For me, I think a asthetic presentation is vital important for the cooking show of Jamie’O which could not only produce the effect of entertainment but also create the appetite desire for audience.
Though this innovation and creative cooking style from Jamie O, the appetite desire of audience was being created already.
Finally, I was so lucky that had a chance to take a photo with Jamie O!!!!!!!!!!! Oh la la! What a beautiful day!
